ROSEMARY SAYS GOODBYE

On 26 June 2017 she was set free from her earthly body that was “racked with pain” to join the Angels up above.

Free at Last

God Sent
an Angel
From Above
And gave to her
a special task
And when she had completed it,
God took her home
to Heaven….free at last.

One I found on her computer a few days after she passed away. Not sure when it was written but I’m sure it was just the start of a longer poem she planned to finish another day …

My time has come, my end is near

But pray do not cry for me my dear

Although my body is racked with pain

In my mind I relive my life again

Memories stored to carry with me

As from this body I am set free

Childhood friends and silly things

Sadness and joy is what life brings

Down here on earth we can only imagine what it is like on the other side but most of us like to believe it is better than what we will be leaving behind.

Shortly after Rosemary passed over I sent this to her sister in the UK who was feeling the loss …

Remember we can only imagine what it’s like on the other side – Rosemary knows

Even though she is gone

Our lives must go on

She knows we feel pain

but we will meet again

She knows all your fears

as you shed those tears

She will understand

and take you by the hand

wipe away the tears that flow

as you gently let her go

When you’re feeling blue

She will smile down and tell you

of wondrous things up there

where no one sheds a tear.

If You Came Back From Heaven

Lorrie Morgan   From the Album: War Paint

I wouldn’t know what to say
I wouldn’t know what to do
If you came back from Heaven
And I could look at you

Would I fumble for the words
Would I be a little shy
Would I bust right out with laughter
Our break right down and cry

Oh if you came back from Heaven
Would it be like it was then
Could we just pick up where we left off
And try it all again
Oh if you came back from Heaven
It would freeze me in my tracks
And I hope God knows
If He let you go
I’d never send you back

Do your kisses feel the same
Do you still have the same touch
And will you whisper softly
That you’ve missed me so much

Have you heard all my prayers
When I laid down at night
And did you feel my body
When I held your pillow tight

Oh if you came back from Heaven
Would it be like it was then
Could we just pick up where we left off
And try it all again
Oh if you came back from Heaven
It would freeze me in my tracks
And I hope God knows
If He let you go
I’d never send you back

And if, God forbid
You leave this earth
Again while I sleep
I hope He knows
If you go
You’ll be bringing me

Oh if you came back from Heaven
Would it be like it was then
Could we just pick up where we left off
And try it all again
Oh if you came back from Heaven
It would freeze me in my tracks
And I hope God knows
If He let you go
I’d never send you back

I hope God knows
If He let you go
I’d never send you back

Orville and the Candy Wrapper

Orville and the Candy Wrapper

Rosemary was a gifted writer and this is one children’s story she published online:

This is a children’s story in poetry form. It tells the story of Orville and the trouble he gets into when someone forgets to put their litter in the trash can.

Poor Orville tries to catch the candy wrapper but gets into all sorts of scrapes doing so >>>continue reading

The photo below is of a lagoon that was walking distance from where we lived when we first got together. It became Rosemary’s sanctuary when she needed quiet time alone. It was her wish that her ashes be spread there after she passed away.
